Information Edge is a free online newspaper that tells the truth about consumer issues. Consumer advocates—not marketers—write every single article and feature on Information Edge.
IE contains no advertisements and we never track or share your information with anyone.
Credit unions host Information Edge. FoolProof uses credit unions as our hosts because we believe, frankly, that the worst credit union is better for consumers than the vast majority of banks.
You do not have to belong to a credit union to use IE. A credit union doesn't even know you are on the Information Edge site, unless you ask the credit union to contact you by filling out a form (for instance, if you want to consider joining a credit union). Otherwise, you're invisible.
